best summer signin robinho or swp?

Robinho purley because he just IS a better player.

In terms of value for money, SWP, but since when has money been an issue for us?

Both have bin great but I'd say robinho

and SWP is a better player than when he left it's just that now he's in alot better team so doesnt stand out as much, when he left he stood out like a sore thumb because he was the only decent player we had going forward

Robinho cost 32m SWP 12 is Robbie three times better than SWP IMO no. He is more skilfull and has scored more goals but SWP in my book is a legend at City and I for one was absolutely delighted to have him back. Pound for pound I would say SWP, not taking into account value for money, Robbie is. Doesn't really answer the question but I am content to have them both along with MHs other signings of De Jong, Kompany, Zab, Given, Bridge and Bellamy. Post Arab takeover I don't think MH has made a mistake in the signings he has made I am hopeful that this summer he will also add another 5 -6 top notch signings which will make us stronger and better for next season. Interesting to see what our squad will look like once the dross has been shipped out.

Robinho - he scores and assists plus he has improved the players around him, somtimes they all think that have the same skills as he does but that is no bad thing.

Robinho, obviously, in addition to Kompany and Zabaleta. SWP was only a better summer signing than Jo and TBH. (Given and De Jong have also been better signings than him and have been here for months fewer than him)

preferred the old SWP tbh.

agreed, hughes said he's come back a better player, i disagree, he was better before he left.

I agree and I disagree, he did come back better in his all round play, maybe not in the way he used to beat about 6 defenders and score some wonder goals but in the last half a dozen games, before he got injured, I think we were starting to see the old SWP in that respect.

This is a tough question but over the whole season I would say SWP, Robbie has obviously scored more but while they have both gone missing in games, I would say Robbie has done moreso and I believe SWP does a little more for us going forward than Robbie. We have missed him on the right these last few games imo.
