best tv for iptv

nVidia Shield TV is pucker, and you can run games on it too. More expensive that a cheapy chinese thing of course, but not a lot of money in the scheme of things.

I can stream 4k content off any dodgy server with sufficient bandwidth and it plays beautifully. 1080p live broadcasts are a doddle.

I can vouch for this. Although I am on my second one after the hard drive failed (known problem and Nvidia replaced with no hassle, even sent me an extra pad)

Matrix TV Browser and your IPTV and you're away.

i only asked about a tv because a mate has a smart tv with iptv and not missed a game since he got it about 18 month ago, ive been round to his to watch some games and its absolutely perfect every time and very easy to use

How do you get up TV on the smart tv I have heard of it but haven't a clue what to do

If it works great mate then excellent :)
Paying a few hundred quid for a smart tv doesn't match its cpu power compared to a decent android box, and if any ISP blocking comes into play on the service he has, vpns can be a little complex to use on a smart tv unless your a little tech minded I believe. But it's horses for courses mate, I suppose you could buy both then you've got the best of both worlds haha

i think his iptv provider only does it if you have a smart tv though, think il probably try a box like you said, just need to find a decent iptv provider now, cheers for the advice.
is it easy to get up and running

Maybe worth him asking that as I imagine there will be an apk that's useable on a box with his service mate. Yes mate very easy, if you have any problems there's plenty on the kodi thread who will help you out :)
