Best XI post 2008 takeover

Worst XI that actually played considerable games for us post 2008.

If you are going to pick a worst 11 since the takeover and are including players that have played more than a handful of games.... you don't have a lot of closes for your keeper...
Bravo
Caballero
Hart
Ederson

I guess you could make a case for Caballero, but I think most would go for Bravo as the worst of the four....

For the fee paid & how terrible he actually was/is + his antics off the pitch I think Mendy should be in that team ahead of Bridge.

Boateng, Savic, Ben Haim
Maicon, Fernando, Rodwell, Mendy
Sinclair, Santa Cruz, Jo

Think you're being a bit harsh on Mangala. He established a good partnership with Demichelis in the 14/15 season and then played 11 games in our Centurions season. Boateng was around for half a season and never looked any good for us, Savic was constantly nervous on the rare occasions he was trusted with standing in for Kompany or Lescott. Ben Haim was horrible to watch and how he ever made it as a professional footballer remains beyond me.

Feel a bit bad putting Rodwell in my team as well because his quality was never in question. When he did he play he was excellent (especially against Chelsea and Norwich). But he never played enough and there aren't many CM candidates amongst our worst signings of the takeover era, so he ends up in my team sort of by default of never being fit. The same goes for Mendy really, although his off-field antics have definitely played a part in his inclusion.

My forwards were the easiest to pick. Sinclair was a bad idea executed poorly, Santa Cruz came with a lot of promise but was a constant sicknote after that one good season he had at Blackburn. He gets the nod for me over Bony because Bony had higher standards to meet and actually made it to 10 goals for City. The same goes for me picking Jo over Jovetic and Nolito, neither of whom were bad, they just didn't work out.
