I agree with you upto a point I agree that he did some good work after the first season. However lets put into context you spend £17m on a 33 year old you are looking for more than 29 games and a free transfer...He redeemed himself with his shootout record but it was like playing without a goalkeeper for some games in his first season
He was pretty awful, enough for people to question if Pep could do it in this league. People can talk about great players...best players at the club etc. but the vast majority of football fans never get to see a player that changes the way a position is played... we get to see that week in week out with EdersonHe was pretty awful, enough for people to question if Pep could do it in this league. But back to the positives - Ederson is probably the greatest of all-time.
