Kompany and Zab were both prior to the takeover.

So was Joe Hart but so? They all played the majority and peak of their careers post takeover.
Any 11 ignoring these 3 (Kompany especially) would be silly.

Would have to replace Savic with Eric Garcia. Fernando probably better than inclusion in that team as well, maybe the ghost of Patrick Vieira instead. Long past it when he came here

I think the style of play has to be of Pep's current squad (possession football) so for that Hart, Zab, Kompany miss out.

Well you must have missed at least two , top of my head Liverpool second game of the season was mustard scored 2 set up the other and Chelsea in the cup ran the show and scored.
