Best XI post 2008 takeover

---------Ederson------------------
Walker-Dias-Leporte-Cancelo
---------Fernandinho------------
----DeBruyne-Yaya-Foden------
---------David Silva--------
------------Aguero---------------

I didn't pick Kompany as he doesn't technically make a post take over 11 in my book....

# So far, cause I have no doubt many more good players will pass through.
# And not according to any managers game plan or style of play (Ederson under Pep is better than Hart. But under Mancini I’m not sure).
# And best player on his natural position.

Hart
Cancelo - Kompany - Dias - Kolarov
Fernandinho - KdB - Silva
Bernardo - Aguero - Sane

Ah fck it. It’s impossible. Don’t even like it as I feel we should be able to field a team of 24 players.

Can't really argue with this; Stones, Rodri, Bernardo, Foden, Sterling all in with a shout.

The worst? Got to be Bony, Sinclair, Fernando, Bravo. All felt like a big step backwards for the club.

Bravo isn't deserving of the criticism he gets. He was a terrific backup for us, took a step backwards with Steffen tbh.

Impossible team to pick..!

We've had and have still got some absolutely brilliant, likeable, fantastic players in our team..

It would be disrespectful to leave either past or present players out of the stating 11 because most would more than warrant a starting place..!

Just about sums up what an awesome club we are in my opinion..!

Ederson
Zaba Kompany Dias Cancelo
Bernardo Yaya De bruyne
Silva Tevez Aguero

Hart, Walker, Laporte, Fernandinho, Gundogan, Foden, Dzeko.

He wasn't signed to be a back up was he? as for a "terrific backup" that's stretching things a little and lets not forget he also managed to get himself sent off not once but twice with only five games played in Europe.

He redeemed himself with his shootout record but it was like playing without a goalkeeper for some games in his first season
