I hope this fella wins his case, if he doesn't it only shows that even if you win against the bookies, you can't.
It did, and he withdrew a couple of small amounts to carry on playing, just to see if it wasn't bullshit, but no it was sitting there after more plays. Betfred offered him £30k to keep quiet and go away, then £60k which he told them to swivel on again. So now it's going to court, 2 & 1/2 years later.
Is that what you call a 'proper bet' risking £60k for a chance of 1.7milion, who on here would have took the 30k or 60k.
You're right, Betfred did a double-or-quits on him, but then being asked to keep schtum and probably sign an NDA signals they know something went wrong and he has a chance in the courts of getting serious wedge. I wonder how he's funding his lawyer team though, could be if we lose you don't owe us a penny. But if we win, 20% please
