I had the same bike loved it. Used to do my paper round on it till it got nicked.My first grown up bike was, I think, one of these:
Parents got it second hand as a Christmas present. I reckon I was about 10. I think I mainly wanted it because it was a car brand.
We also had a bike round my grandma's house than my granddad made. I can't imagine anyone doing that nowadays.

Probably a Puch.Some German type which braked if you pedaled backwards and then a Raleigh 'Jeep'
Mine was a hand-me-down from an older cousin. It must’ve been getting on for 10 years old before I got it in around 1979.I had the purple one, it was slightly different from this original one, but it was still cool!
