Fron Disc brakes were funny. Like that's where you needed more stoppage....

Had loads of hand me down bikes until I got a Royal Enfield Firefly for my 11th
Birthday. Absolutely loved this bike.

Saw a Chopper on sale for £980 earlier this week. Penny Farthing for £2,200 in the same shop. Tyres on the Chopper looked a bit more forgiving.

I Remember years ago when living in Wilmslow if anything went wrong with anyone's bike we all used to take them to an old man that lived round the corner.
This was in the 70s lovely old geezer never charged anyone.
I look back now and think would I let my lads do the same and how would that old boy be classed in todays society.

Some German type which braked if you pedaled backwards and then a Raleigh 'Jeep'

Had the same it was called a Gmx funny as fuck watching mates fall of it when they peddled backwards
