what happened with the arshevin deal when he signed for arsenal?? wasnt he signed after the transfer window closed? cant the same thing happen here with gago??

i think that was late going through due to bad weather or something like that...the bad weather meant the players/agents etc were slowed down when travelling between clubs to sign contracts, have medicals....i think that was the reason anyway..

I think as long as the deal is registered b4 the deadline then it can go on a bit....May be wrong though.

I remember hearing something like that. If the deal is done 'in principle' the clubs get a little extra time or something?

i think it was delayed due to bad weather or sometging like that...the bad weather delayed the players, agents etc travelling between clubs for medicals and contracts to be signed...was sometghing like that anyway i think..
