Ha, the thing I was told about (which has been mentioned in this thread) was supposed to be announced yesterday. No idea why it didn't happen.

I bet it was that bloody event thing wasn't it? a chance for pellegrini and the players to meet the fans or something?

The City Online team must be loving this... It's turned in to the transfer forum!

I'm hoping its that they will be broadcasting all their games live on the website for us that are overseas resting late at night in our arm chairs

I'd prefer if we could download the entire game after it ends. That would make wives and kids happier. :-)

It looks as though calling it the "big announcement" was just a ploy to get some traffic on the site and some new sign up.

The event is a nice touch and suppose its more than other clubs do for their fans but its hardly a massive announcement when only 1/3 of all season ticket holders can attend. More for kids too, if starstruck grown adults want to see the players up close and personal (in a 12k arena) then each to their own but I think when it finally gets announced a sense of anti climax will be felt amongst the majority.

Well you missed it didn't you.
The Big July Announcement has been.............see below...........

“Thailand is a huge market for the club, which is why we’re delighted to soon be launching a Thai version of the Manchester City website.

“Set to go live in July, the new website will satisfy the demand from City’s millions of fans from around the country to be able to view the latest news and content in Thai.”

Under the deal, est Cola has filmed a TV advert with City players that will be aired on TVs in homes across the country’s 69 million strong population.

City players and the club crest will also feature in both below and above the line advertising campaigns and in store point-of-sale.
