Big news I heard last night....

i dont doubt this but we simply dont have the time.

This I don't get, why don't we? It's been 35 years so what's another 2 or 3? I understand money has been sent but it's not our's, I don't miss it out of my pocket. I also understand people want it "now" as do I but having money doesn't give us a right to win everything or in fact anything at all! If it takes time then so be it. Just my opinion.

Given the investment and expectations at the club, RM has to earn himself more time - not by winning trophies this year, but by convincing the owners (and us) that he is taking us forward. I confess I am starting to doubt this - his tactics and constant playing of players out of position is starting to get to me - and if the owners lose faith in his approach, why would they give him more time?

yeah, he really fucked up Chelsea didnt he. I mean, they were a mess after he left. After he'd gone they only won the league, the FA cup twice and champions league finalists. What a mess. Not counting his own back to back league titles. I mean, no-one would want that would they.

He never won back to back titles, but yeah he did leave them with a very good team.

Always thought grant was hard done to, Jose left in sept, thats almost a full season when they won the leauge and CL finalists. Then they fired him off.

Grant didn't win the league that was the season they finished 2nd

and Jose did win back to back titles

Stability perhaps?

I don't want Mourinho, he wouldn't be right for MCFC, not at this time anyway.

We need stability, chopping and changing has done nothing for us in the last 35 years, and won't do any favours for us now.

Mourinho would come, win us a trophy, then go somewhere else. When we are more of an 'elite' club with us playing on the big stage regularly, then maybe Mourinho will be the man for us.

We never had the chance to get the best football manager in the world before.

It's like if you've spent the first 40 years of your life in relationships with fat munters, a different one every 2-3 years or so - then you win the lottery and all of a sudden you have Kaley Cuoco wanting to date you and you're like ''nah, chopping and changing has done nothing for me so far, better stick with fat munter #7''

The only difference is Mancini isn't a fat munter, he's a 6/10, but Mourinho is a supermodel.

Make...sense?

Stick with the Munter she'll be more loyal.

May be, and perhaps that is what they will go for. I'm not saying RM should go. Sticking with the right manager makes sense, sticking with someone you're not 100% sure about is a big gamble in our position.

Not having a go mate, your opinion is more valid now than at any point since Mancini arrived and your entitled to it. I'd just like to know what players you think have been played out of position in recent games? Because I can't remember one player being played out of position lately.

mancini will be the mourinho of the future. Give him time.

This ^^ I'm in the camp of, why get JM in for one, maybe two season to then go through the searching again? Seems pointless, we want long lasting success not short term. Also people keep suggesting Pep... Again as has already been said, Pearce could win things with that Barca team! As much as it pains me I believe we need to stick with RM and let him sort it out. If that means we lose Tevez then so be it, I don't want players to dictate what's what at our club.

Well said!

Weve tried changing managers for years and years. How about we try something new for a change....lets back and support our manager!
And if it dosnt work out? Well weve had very little success for 35 ywars, another year wont make much difference will it.

Give him a chance, hes only had one complete season at the end of this.

For me, Milner is a central midfielder, Yaya a holding midfielder, and AJ a left winger. Silva should also (ideally) be played centrally, not out wide, but he is obviously good enough to play there.

How many times have these 4 been played in these positions?

But worse in every other quantifiable way.
