Nope just checked the OS.

I know its from wikipedia but:
He scored his second consecutive goal with a back heel in a league game against West Bromwich, but the goal was officially ruled as an own goal, because it hit the post and then the goalkeeper to be finally in. The goal was later given back to Caicedo after reconsideration from the Dubious Goals Committee

Check out Sundays programme it says Citys scorer was Caicedo the website is wrong

This coming from the same board who were crying out for Ireland to be shipped off last summer and have gone from hating to loving Caicedo in the space of half a season. Yes, you clearly all know how to judge a footballer.

Well I can honestly say I've always rated Ireland because he's always had the technique and footballing brain to make it, nobody seems to have any patience in the youth. Although he has different characteristics Big Phil is also now showing early glimpses of his potential and with patience can become as efficient as Ireland. So why judge him so harshly now? He's more of a threat than anyone else we have up top.

To be fair Ireland was shocking last season read what people like Mike Summerbee and Gary Owen put in their programme articles about how last summer he seemed a changed man 100% committed to his work Hughes not allowing him to be sold was also a massive boost to him. Caicedo is by no means gonna set the world alight at the moment but he is young and learning based on recent games learning fast City fans never have a problem with a player who trys his best. It's obvious he is trying he doesn't seem to fluster very much and his team play is very good.

Can you honestly name what qualities Caicedo brings up front that other options we have don't? Yes he's scored from about 5 yards out in the 5 league goals, but other than that? He is completely anonymous when he comes up against a quality centre-back. He can't jump or head the ball AT ALL. He's sluggish and has less pace than almost every other striker we have at the club. He has good close control when he actually gets his chance on the ball, but more often than not he will run into traffic or fail to pick an easy pass. His first-touch is all over the place, sometimes it sticks to his foot, but the majority of the time Benjani honestly looks better at it. What other qualities can you highlight other than "He taps in team created chances from about 5 yards out"?

Hamburg and Aalborg where not tap ins they where his hard work to create the space the tap in arguement is unfair and inaccurate

You obviously didn't attend the Bolton game. He won some decent flick ons and got clattered a few times in doing so, he held it up better than any striker we've had in years(not a great accomplishment I know but for a 20 year old very promising), his first touch and link up play with those around him was clever and he keeps it simple, he scored a poachers goal which is what people have been moaning about for years, had a great run from our own half to their area but wasn't selfish enough but on an other occasion could have had an assist and another effort in the 2nd half that was just wide. He's 20 ffs, give him a chance and he'll prove the doubters wrong and become at least a good Premiership striker. Tap ins=goals so moaning about that is embarrassing.

I'm sorry, but his "flick ons" don't count if they shave the top of his head and go nowhere. He jumps about a yard off the ground and in almost every game against quality centre-backs he's completely taken out of the equation. He regularly runs into traffic and his link up play is decent about once a match. He'll be a squad player next year and he hardly makes any real impact when he comes on, so how is he going to develop into this supposed world-class or good striker when he's not playing?

IF we do stick by him then surely you loan him out for experience and chance to develop??
