Biggest flop at Euro 2016?

The whole tournament for me has been a flop. Poor quality of football and the whole new format has just not worked. 3 points got you through so teams were just focussing on not losing and getting a point which lead to so many dour games in the groups. Then in the 2nd round the knock out games were generally teams trying to defend to take games to pens. Finally the quaters through up some cracking games. The only good thing about it for me has been the crowds, some great atmospheres, just a shame the football hasnt matched that.

Like I do it all the time FFS!!!
Look at the picture Bony should be pleased there is a crapper striker than him..

Sorry seen the thread name and he popped straight into my head..
Footballl is a joke and a laugh to some people.
Not me.
Bony sufferred Malaria last summer.A life threatening disease.he probably came back too quick from his recovery so as not to appear lazy and ... I for one am happy he didn't die.
I wouldn't joke about a city players poor season,just for a laugh.

Amongst the many flops, two things I've enjoyed are the refereeing, particularly the reduced number of stoppages for feigned injury, and the multi-ball format. I think the ball being quickly recycled has been a factor in the number of late goals, especially in the early stages. Oh, and the stewardesses welcoming the teams onto the pitch, what an innovation.

Malaria generally wouldn't be life threatening to an otherwise above healthy 26yr old with private medical care. Im sure it would be very bad if he just ignored it but you cant anyway

Me too.

Highly impressed by Twattenberg and Atkinson. Just a shame they'll revert to being told what to do by Reilly come August. That German ref has been stand out one for me.

So out of every player at the tournament you think he's been the biggest flop?

well, my housemate raves about him - so focused on him more, i didn't see him do anything except over hit crosses and set pieces, genuinely thought he was awful.

Harry Kane would have to be the stand out flop though.

Think the quality has been genuinely high across the board. Would be genuinely interested to hear what has changed, or what has been said to the players to make them act so differently in this tournament.

Bony was unable to travel on City's pre-season tour of Australia and Vietnam because of the disease.

City did not reveal the full reason for Bony's absence at the time other than to say the Ivory Coast international was ill.

But after manager Manuel Pellegrini mentioned it in a press conference this week as he spoke about Bony's various injury and illness problems, the 26-year-old has spoken about his condition.

He said: "I got malaria from Africa when I was coming back but I am okay now." But he wasn't denishasdoneit knew it but me and Bony did not..

So that's why he couldn't hit a cow's arse with a banjo riiiiiiiiiight.... Could've died FFS you sound like the GPC that'll teach him not to use mozzi spray...
No excuse this year then so let's see..
