This guy IS Coronation Street ........ Bill Roache is apparently the worlds longest serving actor in a continuous role , and he's their spokesman at tv award shows etc .

Fifty two years as Ken Barlow , and this happens , unbelievable.

The way things are going they better start building a new wing at Strangeways with a sign hanging on the door ... ' actors , washed-up comedians , publicists and weathermen only ' ....... bankrobbers , murderers , fraudsters and drug barons report next door !!
