I've just got back from holiday in Menorca. Plenty of variety there.
Egyptian vultures are very impressive birds, soaring on huge wings.
Hoopoes
Red Kite
White Egrets
Bee eaters. Beautiful colourful birds. Fly like little spitfires.
We were kept awake by a Scops owl one night. A very unusual almost electronic hoot, sounding like a smoke alarm when the battery is running low.
Red backed shrike.
I always pack a small pair of binoculars when we go to the island.
