I think one of the qualities required must have been to wear a baseball cap and thick jacket covering most of your face.I want to understand what competent executive looks at Rooney and goes “Yeah that’s the thought leader I want running my team”?
I know that not every good manager is blessed with towering intellect… but they all at least give the impression they might have read a book once. Or that they perhaps have something resembling charisma and guile.
If you listed the qualities you’d want in a manager and rated them all out of 100, Rooney would barely get out of single digits for any of them.
Feel sorry for Brum City players & fans, deserve much better.Will be interesting to hear what players thought of him when they move on and can tell all.
