Bizarre chance encounters

I saw GDM in The Turk's Head, not once, but 2 or 3 times. Didn't know what to say.

Fish had a piss next to me in Heaton Park bogs at a Radio one roadshow and offered his hand to shake my hand while we were pissing.....

Just looked at him and walked away.

I didn't know my Brother lived next door to our groundsman til a couple of years ago.

He and his mrs was sat opposite me on the train to Cardiff in November.
She had made sandwiches for the two of them and they were drinking heavily, for nine I the morning.
Maybe there is something about being in your company, that causes people to drink heavily? :-))

You can't really say that the Dalai Lama is "...off the telly"

Just remembered another one, which I think I've told on here before. My house was on the market and the agent rang up to say someone wanted to look at it but they couldn't send anyone to do the viewing so would I mind doing it myself. I was quite happy to do that and answered the door to the couple viewing. There was something a bit familiar about the husband but I couldn't quite place it. Then when he saw my son's drumkit in the basement and started talking music to him, I twigged it was Guy Garvey.
