Bizarre chance encounters

Well me and a couple of mates were sat in a pub on Horseferry Road, Westminster in the summer of 2006 watching a World Cup game between France and Brazil.
At some point during the first half, two old blokes came and sat down with a pint of Guinness each at the table next to us and a conversation about the game opened up between us and them.
Turns out one of them was the Home Secretary of the day Charles Clarke. A quick scan round the mostly empty pub at half time revealed a number of very large nervous looking gentlemen stood at the doors and a number of big black cars parked outside. After the game one of our guys when into the Costcutter next door to meet Margaret Beckett buying a packet of fags...
 
I once went to see the smiths at the London palladium and bumped into Iggy pop ask him if he would like to do a spliff with me said I can't So we just had a chat about Mrs pop !
 
Told a young lad, there were a few of them larking about to wait his turn in a butty shop. It was on chapel walks in town. On the way back to the office the young girl I was with laughed and said you've just bossed Robbie Williams and the other lads from take that. Had never heard of them they were just breaking through
 
German work colleague sat in business class to Chicago in 2004 noticed the guy next to him getting a lot of attention, so asked him who he was. Turned out to be Robbie Williams.
"Pleased to meet you Robbie, I'm Ralf. So, what do you do?"
 
Was down at the cricket last Sunday and former Northern Ireland internationals Gary Hamilton and Stevie McBride stopped with me to ask how we were doing this season

On a different twist some 20+ years ago i was walking through a shop in Gibraltar and bumped into a girl i had went to school with about 10 years before
