Blackburn v City Post Match Thread

I do sometimes get the impression that they sometimes think they just need to turn up and the other team will roll over
It certainly looks like that sometimes.
I think it's a mentality thing and hopefully it will change under the new management.
I am pretty sure it is not MP who is telling his players to be complacent so it must be down to the (or some at least) players.
MP is a much more offensive minded coach than his predecessor and hopefully as time goes by he will be able to instil a new approach and get rid of some who will not play his way.

No doubt if Kompany had played it would have been different, but there you go

We have that many games coming up, we will have forgotten about this on in a few days

Next!

Hope the team comes back with win against West Ham but the priority for me is to make sure we take maximum points from Newcastle and Cardiff games as PL is top priority.

I couldn't afford it yesterday but how many did we take. Got a gobshite on FB say we only took 1000.

Just show him this (which doesn't include the many sat in the Blackburn end).

I knew he was talking shit and god knows where he got his information from but he's the biggest baby (when Utd lose of course) you'd ever meet.

We did draw at Leicester in the 3rd round and won the FA-cup a few months later. It's just the extra game that bothers me. I'm sure we will win the replay and should get through the next round as well, so realistically we shoukd be in the draw for the 5th round.
We did however put on a lame perfromance at Ewood. With Silva and Milner having their boots switched and the back four with no-one to build-up properly, it would always be difficult. Fernandinho the odd player to do well. He and Zabaleta are prime exemples for consistency.
