Bloody Gary Neville gets more reasonable by the day. WTF?

I take it everyone missed Neville's staunch defence of Ashley Young's 'right to dive'?
And his praise for Aguero? Plus, having witnessed AJ and Dzeko earlier in the season, we're not really in a position to take the moral high ground. Every club has it's divers, we just noticed that little shit because
A. He plays for the vermin. And
B. We're challenging them for the title.

Due respect for the number of posts you've made down the years but you're just so wrong on this one . . fact is that rat boy is famous for spitting on the blue shirt (on our club shirt) and that's a filthy and unforgivable sin. Just because he's got his pundit job on the basis that he tones it down for a few seasons doesn't take away the fact that he's not only a dyed in the wool rag but a twat of the lowest order.

Young's diving was the talk of the country at the time, and Neville used his position at Sky to defend the indefensible, because he's a rag and always will be.

Once a twat always a twat , I will never forget him telling a young city fan with his dad to fuck off after we beat them in the semi .

Being a twat is not necessarily a bar to a job in the media. I give you Stan Collymore, renowned dogger and woman beater. And yes, I had heard about ''rat boy'' spitting on our shirt. And yes, it was the actions of a ****, no question about it. As I said earlier though, I'm trying to judge him on what he's doing now.
Still; it's obvious that there are some on here that will never agree with me (or vice versa) on Neville. We could be posting all night and we'd get nowhere. It'd be like a dog trying to catch his tail. With that in mind therefore, I respectfully withdraw from this particular thread. No hard feelings to anyone on here.

Exactly. His abilities and bias asa pundit is not the issue. Its the fact that its him that I object to. I cannot accept any positivity about this twat simply because he seems to have hoodwinked some of you by appearing to be reasonable on tele! Unbelievable lack of blue spirit! He is the enemy always has been always will be.

-- Wed Apr 25, 2012 7:57 pm --

You need to get your priorities right Jim and remember who you are supposed to suport.

Souness had a failed football career!! I,ll give you Redknapp and Shearer even though theydidwin something but most of the others won loads

I wasn't referring to the likes of Souness. Though I do have a problem with the Liverpool legends (again not really Souness because he's hasn't been doing it as long as the other two on BBC) sitting their like their Zen masters judging players as if it's X Factor.

I was referring more to the likes of Redknapp (hangman) and McManaman (alcoholic).

-- Wed Apr 25, 2012 9:03 pm --

Dear Rat Boys best mate,

I didn't want to join this debate but this is well out of order . . if you were a City fan then you'd remember rat boy (on the touchline warming up - not even on the pitch!) spitting on a certain City player in a certain cup derby at the Etihad.
I can't tell if you're extremely forgetful, if you want to shove your tongue up rat boys arse or if you're a rag sniper on here to wind people up but fact is that we can all forgive a guy who kisses his club badge then changes club etc. but as loyal Blues and as people with a modicum of pride and dignity we can't forgive a **** who spits on our badge can we?

PS. Just checked your previous and wish to edit to say . . take a walk back to rag cafe you rat boy tonguing weirdo.

Sigh, you missed the part where I said I hated him as a player then.

On that basis, I must continue in my hatred of Tevez and Ballotelli.

However, as time goes on and I see things from the two that I can't knock or complain about, to not acknowledge what they are doing is to be praised, respected, appreciated... To not do this would make me one stubborn prick.

You purposefully miss the key point and that is that the rat boy that you love and praise is a dyed in the wool rag twat - famous for spitting on the Manchester City Club badge. There are things that can be forgiven and things that can't and you may choose to put his poster up over your bed but you simply won't convince any loyal blue to join you in you're misguided appreciation . . . and comparing Balo or Tevez with rat boy is so ludicrous that it points the finger of suspicion firmly in your direction.

PS. If your so proud of rat boy why don't you proudly change your moniker to 'rat boy lover' or similar so that your loyalties are obvious.
Dobobobo indeed . . very creative sniper cover huh!

-- Wed Apr 25, 2012 9:40 pm --

I should add that the crime behind this thread is the drama queen (ms negative herself) who dream up notion of starting a rat boy thread in the first instance.

Yes, hang your head in shame!

Lots of opinions...everyone's entitled to opinions

Back to my previous question though

Why are we talking about him on the city pages....again...did he play for us at some point that I was asleep?

There's been a weekly barrage of Neville respect threads...in fact there's been more praise/respect shown for him on here than half our players get...which is just wrong.

Nevertheless...my suggestion ages ago was to have a "Gary Neville appreciation society" sticky in general football so you can all fawn over him with like minded folk.

Again, how you can overlook the well known fact that he shags his mother and makes love to his brother is beyond me?

THIS
I bow to this man's logical disposition and beautifully crafted line of argument (will negative pam please take note!)

PS. I'd have said what he said but my hate for the rat boy is so ingrained that I just can't hold back as much as I'd like - sorry for any offence caused (but not to you rat boy . . or to any of your arse lickers!!!!).
