Bloody Sunday: Soldier F faces murder charges

If he’s found guilty then he’ll get what he deserves.

He’s charged with the murder of a 15 year old.
All here what he did. What a fuckin animal.

"The Saville Inquiry stated that there was "no doubt" Soldier F had shot father-of-six Paddy Doherty, who was unarmed.

Saville also found there was "no doubt" Soldier F had shot an unarmed Bernard McGuigan on Bloody Sunday as he went to the aid of Patrick Doherty, waving a white handkerchief.

At the Saville Inquiry, Soldier F admitted he had shot 17-year-old Michael Kelly - but he said that he had only fired at people with bombs or weapons.

However, Saville concluded Mr Kelly was unarmed.

The Saville Inquiry found that both William McKinney and James Wray could have been shot by Soldier F and three other soldiers.

The inquiry report also stated Soldier F had changed his story over the years"

You need to read up more on whats happening

"UK Defence Secretary Gavin Williamson said the government would offer full legal support to Soldier F - including paying his legal costs and providing welfare support.

"We are indebted to those soldiers who served with courage and distinction to bring peace to Northern Ireland," he said. "The welfare of our former service personnel is of the utmost importance."
Wonderful, except it shouldn't have got to this stage. The charges should not have been brought, that's my point.

Theve let another 18 soldiers off but not this one, so lets wait and see why.

Because sleeping dogs should lie IMO,this wasn't a proud era for anyone......and yes much wrongdoing was committed by all involved.....to now start raking up the past and very carefully selecting individuals for prosecution is a nonsense.
As already stated, this will cause far more harm than it will solve.

Great post

It will be great for the individual to realise many thousands of ordinary members of the public have his back, even when our government haven't.

Given the charges brought against Soldier F not sure ordinary members of the public ‘having his back’ is quite the message you want to go with...
