Blue Boycott of the Mirror

we need to start treating this paper the way scousers do the sun. We need to make sure every city fan knows loud and clear that you don't buy this rag and call yourself a fan!!

Different guy same paper, sorry if already posted but i thought it was hilarious...

I would not get too excited about this piece of pseudo-journalism. He is jealous of the money available to City, and probably realizes that his profession is an antiquated form of news and that most papers will be out-of-business in a couple of years. Hell they could not even afford an editor, as there are numerous errors, of both the grammatical and spelling nature.

Amen to that!! Hopefully advertisers of thw world will soon realise that print is dead.

I stopped buying it a long time ago. A lot of bitterness about our takeover in that paper.

I have told my mum and girlfriend never to buy it. i know its only 3 people but it has to start somewhere.

I got bored earlier so I decided to write to the editor:
Dear Mr Silver,

I am writing to give you my opinion on the pathetic excuse for an article you found okay to publish in the sport section of the Mirror. I find it disgusting how you allow the publishing of "Why Manchester City's relegation is top of my Christmas wish list" Written by Ian Winwood, when it is the most biased and disheartening piece of rubbish I have ever had the misfortune to read.

Not only is this article the most hypocritical piece of writing I have witnessed in a good while, it is very offensive and infuriating for many City fans. Of course everyone is entitled to their own opinion but not, as seen in this case, when one is entirely contradictive of one's self. Ian begins to say he wants Manchester City relegated "for the good of football itself," suggesting we are ruining football because of our fortune. This is all very well, however Ian goes on to point out how he would like some other team to compete with the top four. Surely City having money to burn means we are able to do just this? Am I right? Of course I am.

I'm not going to continue pointing out the mistakes and stupidy of this article, because I could be here all day. I willl, however, assure you that myself and many of my fellow City fans are refusing to ever waste money on this sad excuse for a paper, as a consequence of horrendous articles such as the one I am writing to you about.

I realise I may not receive a reply from you Dan, you must be very busy looking out for any pieces that look upon Manchester City in a bad light. However I don't really care. If you are reading this sentence, it must mean you have read my email and that is very much satisifaction in itself to know you understand just how much I hate the Mirror.

Yours sincerely,
Amy Roberts.

I don't read the paper because it's a poor paper designed to create something out of nothing.

Don't agree with all the boycott shit though, if we started doing that then we would have to boycott Sky, BBC, MEN, mcfc.co.uk whenever something bad was said.

leave all that boycotting to the scousers otherwsie we will end up having minutes silence's for a bit of ham that dropped on the floor soon.
