When the ref gives a blue card, it is, in effect, a yellow PLUS a 10 minute sin bin. Simples.

Get another yellow…that equals a red.
Get another blue…that equals a red.

We have reduced the professional foul to a run of the mill yellow. Now, it’s a yellow PLUS a 10 minute sit. That should help shut them down.

My question is what happens to a blue card issued for dissent or a professional foul with only 2 mins to go?
