It puts things into perspective, I was at Bury when we played them in our dark days. One of our fans had a heart attack and died right in front of us. City fans not knowing were singing “I’m City tiI I die” at the same time.

Horrible. Never a good time for it, but I feel deaths are especially sad in the build-up the Christmas period.

Would be a nice gesture if the club paid for the funeral costs.
