Blue Moon Playlist Review Club - Season 2 - Episode 28 - Coatigan - Instrumentals (pg 444)

Yes we were very lucky, it seems the frequency and severity has increased over the last few years.Fortunately our house is not near the shore and pretty new so we suffered very little damage even after Ian.
So glad to hear on all parts. Milton has been a disaster for most of central FL north of your area. For many, if the wind and flooding from the storm itself didn't impact them, then the river flooding and release of water since has. Been pretty bad, and FEMA is doing the best they can to take care of everyone, no matter what any one unhinged candidate says otherwise.

One things for sure our first major purchase will be a generator for next October!
How did you guys fare?
Highly recommend a generator. We have one for our camper and it serves multiple purposes if we lose power at home too.

Central NC did fine through Helene, but as you've maybe seen, western NC and the mountains around Asheville and Boone have not. Very sad to see the flooding and loss of life there. I saw the taco food truck my wife and I ate at along the River Arts District this past Spring for the eclipse while stopping for a few days in Asheville, and it was over half submerged. It is going to take months/years to rebuild that area of NC, and of course the fall tourist season this year is mostly wiped out as well as those communities work to rebuild, hopefully taking this past storm into account. I don't think a "100 year storm" buys you the peace of mind that it once did under the changing climate conditions.

Back on topic, I think this playlist will also be a challenge to narrow the options down. A sign of a good idea!

Stevie Nicks: "Edge of Seventeen", in honour of her ass-kicking performance on Saturday Night Live last weekend that was all over my Twitter feed.

Dewey Finn and Principal Mullins approve of this post.

James McMurtry’Childish Things’ wanted to nominate’Just Us Kids’ but I’ve already done that previously on another thread.
