Don't worry, I voted for them as well.So if I understand the scoring, that's at least 6 points just from you and me, and yet we haven't seen them yet so they must be in the top 20.
I would guess that less than 1percent of this forum could name a Rush tune.Did you vote for them?
Ha ha what total nonsense. Mozart and Shakespeare have lasted for centuries because they operated centuries ago ffs ! Let's come back in three hundred years time and see shall we !? Is Mozart the only classical musical genius that people remember ? Is he balls, there's also Beethoven, Bach, Tchaikovsky and several others. It won't just be the Beatles. As things stand in the 21st century the Dan are massively respected and critically and culturally acclaimed by their peers and the music industry as a whole across a massive range of genres too including soul, funk, jazz, rock and pop, ranging from the likes of Kanye West and De La Soul to David Crosby, Burt Bacharach and many rock and pop stars, which is not a bad start. In the nicest possible way mate thats bollocks. Mozart and Shakespeare work has lasted centuries. The only contemporary artists that will still be remembered in 300 years are possibly the Beatles. Steely Dan not so much. Kudos that you like them so much but comparing them to two of the greatest cultural icons in history is just a little ott.
I’m hoping for two more of my choices so I end up 5/15.Can we add some on your behalf then?

They're not massive and we're insignificant musically and culturally after about 79.
New order?I Mancunian born and bred, and still live here, but there's not one Manchester band that would get anywhere near my Top 100.
I accept that I'm probably in a minority here though.
