For me their 1st album was decent but their 2nd "Drawn From Memory" is 3 songs off an all time classic. The title song is an absolute cracker imo. Everything i heard after was maudling shite.

6 bands there that I have albums by but only 3 (and a quarter) that I've seen in concert (Foos, Zappa, Pulp & N Young).

Foo Fighters not in my top 20 but they are in my top 3 live acts that still tour.

Your rock credentials are slipping OB1! Got albums by 6 of them and seen 5 of them live (Pulp, Chili's, Foo's, The Cure and Neil Young).....assuming Mr Young as a solo artist counts?

loved them through my teenage years, but struggle now and after there first couple of albums they turned into generic bland shite

but, back in the day when I was a little indie kid going through the usual teenage struggles in life. i would play this over and over.

They made it because of the first two albums. I saw them in the nineties at the Apollo and they were excellent

you could also say that Oasis went shit after their first two albums but what a great first two albums !

I voted for the Foos but not Nirvana because the Foos have been far more prolific and have done some great stuff. But Nirvana put out arguably the most important record of the last 30 years. It's hard to gainsay that IMO.

Pulp were the one band that, after I submitted, I realized I overlooked and wished I had snuck on the bottom of my list. Their run of albums from ‘Freaks’ through to ‘This is Hardcore’ was excellent.
