Yes - Not heard an album for these, prog rock has grown on me in recent years thank to a few on here - we've had early genesis, Rush, King Crimson - all i've enjoyed, so i'm sure i'd enjoy these when i get round to them

Marvin Gaye - Motown/Soul, some amazing hits. not really my genre thouugh

Simon & Garfunkel - bridge over troubled water (album) is one of my favourites and 'The Boxer' one of my favourite ever tracks. great harmonys.

Morrissey - was expecting The Smiths, but not Morrissey - done some good stuff for sure and love a few of his solo stuff but surprised to see him this high - mad eyed has been using different user accounts.

The Fall - never heard any of their stuff. shame on me.

The Clash - London Calling' is a superb album, great band
Bloody hell mate. Let us know what you think when you hear Yes for the very first time. I remember what I thought when I was 15. WTF is this :-).
Someone is bound to put up a Yes album on the album review.

I’ll throw my thrupence in and say to start with The Yes Album.
This is when Steve Howe joined and a definitive sound emerged. Then track the wonderful advancement through to the pinnacle that is Going for the One.
I don’t know- one of the great pioneers of rock music beaten by a bloke best known for having a twig stuck up his arse on stage.

There may yet be a meltdown.
