Blue Tuesday with Paul Lake and Ian Cheeseman

Obviously you don't need to do Bell, Lee and Summerbee but couldn't Kinkladze be the type of player you're looking for. I'm sure he means more to City than any other club.

Don't know if the budget could spread to it though :)

As a bit of an aside, every ex-player that Lakey interviews he will be asking them three questions chosen by us on Bluemoon. We're looking for more interesting/obscure questions than the standard "Best player you've faced?" etc, but that's further down the field. In the meantime the more suggestions for players to interview, the better.

I stilll want to get Christian Negouai, but not sure if it's a goer.

Still banging that old drum eh Ricardo , it was a shame we couldnt afford to sponsor him while he was with us.

Paul you're a legend, you and the youth cup final team meant so much to me growing up.

One player i'd be interested to hear interviewed is David Oldfield. Ok, i know, he wasn't with City long, but he left his mark with the 5-1, and if i'm honest i used to write to him as a kid when he was with us (and also the few years after he'd left!) and he was always really nice and kind writing back. Which meant a lot with my childhood..
i'm rambling now, sorry Paul, but yeah David Oldfield would be my pick.

Any from the Youth cup winning team, as a sort of "where are they now?" feature. Also blues that play for other clubs at present.

Dave Watson.

Nothing got past him, especially in the air, for both City and England, and he was the solid base of the great team Tony Book assembled in the mid 70's. He is rarely mentioned yet I have no hesitation in putting him in my all time City XI.

I have no idea what became of him, so for me, he would be an interesting listen.

Hi Mr. Lake ...

If there's anyone around, from the '62-63 team.

I'm sure that I remember that great nbr. 9 we had - Alex Harley - scoring a penalty that season, at the Platt Lane end.

He placed the ball on the spot, and turned round as if to walk back ... then, straight away, he back-heeled the ball past a startled goalie. Can't remember who the opposition was, but I swear it happened. He was only at Maine Rd. for the one season, but I loved the way he played. He has since died at an early age, from a heart problem I believe. Like I say, if you get any of the team from that era, please ask them about this if only to prove I'm not having a 'senior moment'!

Many thanks, all the best, and will be listening to all the shows on t'internet, down here in Jamaica.
