Bluemoon in meltdown!

I think it's absolutely disgusting that we should even contemplate not winning the league every single season.
How very dare our players not win every match.

Much. This evening is a teddy bear's picnic, compared to some I've seen on here. I think most are more accepting of us getting beat by a better team. It's losing to the likes of Stoke that fan the flames.

That's a fair point. We would have expected to lose some where along the way. With the injuries we had I always thought if we get past the Chelsea game only 5-6 points behind I would still back us.
The fact that we got level with them, its's disappointing to see it slip, but we could still get to mid-February in touch with them. Obviously we don't want to lose to Chelsea. I would think pragmatically and say that if Jose sets up for a draw, take it, even if it's the most boring game ever.
I still have a feeling that Yaya will come back wanting to play, with his new best buddy, Bony.
Shit happens, but I still feel if this squad are fit, they are better equipped to see out the run in, considering all the fixtures Chelsea will face.
I wouldn't get too down-hearted about one defeat in January.

As i said in another thread beat the Chavs away in two weeks and it will all be forgotten, as unlikely as that is but we are capable of doing it. They have also been incredibly lucky with injuries so far if they lose Hazard, Costa and Terry for a few weeks let's see how they cope then. If we keep the gap between 3-5 points until we get Toure and Bony back and keep Aguero and Kompany fit i would back us. It will also be in their mind how strongly we usually finish the season.

I love the vicissitudes of the football season. If it was all plain sailing it would be boring.

What made 2012 sweeter for me was the memory of that horribly rainy day when we lost to Arsenal.

What made 2014 sweeter for me was the memory of Gerrard's huddle.

I cannot for the life of me understand why people who've followed this group of players are ready to throw the towel in already. Even if we lose on Sunday this isn't over.

Life following Manchester City has always been a roller coaster. Now we're a top club and the stakes are higher and the ride is faster it should be more enjoyable, surely.

Big players; big fixtures; high stakes; being In the spotlight - never a dull moment: that is what it's all about, people.

I cannot understand why so many of our supporters simply don't really seem to enjoy this remarkable journey we're on as City fans.

However this season ends, I know it's going to be another remarkable and memorable one. I think much of our support forget too easily how unbelievably lucky we are.
