Fuck me, at least there's no problem with confidence in our squad. Before every trial/game people big themselves up on here and turn out to be average so I'll take it all with a pinch of salt.
From the last game I'd say we had 5/6 very good players so you'll have to be pretty good to take their places, but every place is up for grabs. Back to back defeats isn't good enough, albeit under different managers from myself. We'll take this one a bit more seriously!
The team's going to be picked purely on merit, we'll have a squad of 16. If that means upsetting some regulars so be it. And before anyone says, that includes my place in the side as I was pretty anonymous in the last game.

"Fucking hell" at this thread.
From a managerial point, we were by far the better team in the last match, our strikers (and we tried four through the game) had an absolute mare. Our goal was created and scored by two midfielders with the forwards missed at least four sitters that I can remember. When I say sitters I mean sitters. Free header from a yard and totally missed the ball, open goal from two yards and hit the post, eight yards out and put it wide and with the keeper stood on his line and from six yards out in the centre of the goal in the last minute, scuffs the shot wide.
I also seem to remember their first goal came from a corner when someone who's posted in this thread failed to get off the ground to clear with an easy header. Instead the ball just skimmed off his head into the oncoming bluewatch player.
In saying that there were certain times in the game when bluewatch just resorted to hacking down our players and the ref never got his cards out. On another day they certainly would have had at least one player sent off.
My major dissapointment when I look back was taking myself off after only fifteen minutes to unselfishly give others an opportunity to play and not going back on later in the game, really because certain players were fucking whinging and whining that they'd only played 60 minutes or so.
To be fair to Jay who looked after the team for the first game, that team/squad was far weaker than the last one we put out. Too many were bigging themselves up for that first game (just like this thread) and when it came to the crunch they were a fucking waste of time
