The team's going to be picked purely on merit, we'll have a squad of 16. If that means upsetting some regulars so be it. And before anyone says, that includes my place in the side as I was pretty anonymous in the last game.

Our goal was created and scored by two midfielders with the forwards missed at least four sitters that I can remember. When I say sitters I mean sitters. In saying that there were certain times in the game when bluewatch just resorted to hacking down our players and the ref never got his cards out. On another day they certainly would have had at least one player sent off.

My major dissapointment when I look back was taking myself off after only fifteen minutes to unselfishly give others an opportunity to play and not going back on later in the game, really because certain players were fucking whinging and whining that they'd only played 60 minutes or so.

To be fair to Jay who looked after the team for the first game, that team/squad was far weaker than the last one we put out. Too many were bigging themselves up for that first game (just like this thread) and when it came to the crunch they were a fucking waste of time

I'll claim that first 'headed goal' debacle. I'm up against a guy that's what 6' 2" and I ain't the tallest! He climbed all over me too. Imagine putting me at centre back... You'd have had that, not me! *tsk!* Poor that. You even said nobody else would do that position, even when I told you it wasn't the best idea and now you're calling me!

So, come on, tell the whole story, Rob!

Anyway, not really bigging myself up, just told the truth.

One goalie

Four forwards

Eight midfielders

Three defenders (including myself)

And as I said a number of whingers who wanted to play.

You manage it next time, it's quite obviously a fucking thankless task.

Ric, we might have to put this match on the back burner for a while as there's rumours of drug tests leadin up to the game.

We'll give you lot a week, if you ain't cleared by then we'll have to play someone else. :)
 
Ok lads many thanks for helping out much apreciated > Ihave a good idea for some team bonding .Before the Boro game we are doing a Bucket Collection & need Volunteers I am also asking the same of Bluewatch we are collecting between 1pm & 3pm maybee an hour each ?.Have a think please lads Cheers Don

There were a SH*T load of whingers, that game. Me included for a few mins, but I ended up getting on with it to the best of my ability. Didn't mean it to sound like I was having a go, fella, cos I told you to stay in the position, but you said you wanted to come off.

All in all, it was a good manager's job trying to keep everyone happy, so I tip my hat to you.

Hope you understand I wasn't digging as I owned up to that goal as many wouldn't.
