Is it worth doing a roll call of definites for these trials Ric?
If there's 20+ you could have 11 a side match. Might give a truer picture of players abilities and positional awareness.
If say 16 turn up, it's still 8-a-side and that forms the basis of your squad.

I think you can only book a pitch a week in advance aswell, so times will only be known then.

To be fair, if we book a pitch, it's normally quiet when we play so if it's over crowded (for 5 a side) the other lads could keep warm on an adjacent pitch.
