Yaya’s one of the most important players in the history of the club and provided arguably more big/key moments than anyone who’s ever played for us. Kolo by comparison was pretty average.

This logic makes no sense.
If we’d never got relegated with Alan Ball, then we’d never have had the Horlock goal, without that we wouldn't have the Dickov goal, without the Dickov goal we wouldn’t have had Ewood Park in 2000, without that we’d never have had the Yaya moments in 2011... etc etc.
Using this logic, the player who scored the club’s first goal is our greatest ever, because none of what happened afterwards would have happened otherwise.
You do realise I highlighted one line, I wasn’t replying to your whole post.No one mentioned greatest ever and there's nothing wrong with the logic of my hypothesis, which wasn't why I chose Yaya but a comment of the events in one game.
