Like 4 of those - not so keen on 2001 but I can see why people like it.

Had Jurassic Park in my top 20 - groundbreaking effects and a great example of good use of CGI in a film. When that T-Rex wanders through the trees, you actually believe the damn thing is there. Decent, if slightly implausible, story.

That's 6/20 for me now.

The list has definitely been improving to my mind.

Only 'Awrence was in my 20 but Rogue One and Jurassic where on the short list.

Spielberg is my favourite director and Schindler's is a great movie but I have never rewatched it. I actually read the book Schindler's Ark several years before it was filmed because I knew SS had the rights. I actually read it when I was sent on secondment to South Africa with apartheid was still in place and one could not help drawing some unfortunate parallels.

2001 is of course another acknowledged classic but not a movie I personally love; probably time to rewatch it.
