If sane hasn't been playin well, then it means your not using him properly. Mario Gomez goes but not Leroy. Julian Brandt for fucks sake. Leroy should literally walk into any international side. He's that dangerous. Madness to not even put him on the plane
 
I'm actually proper gutted for the lad. This summer was huge for him. Now he'll have to wait until he's at least 26! Absolutely fucking obscene decision.
 
Gobsmacked by the Sane decision but for the Germans it is always about the team and unit rather than individuals. They are successful so it obviously works for them.
 
I know people will say that he will be fresh for us, but I am gutted for him. He could have been one of the breakout stars of the tournament. I also worry about it knocking his confidence. Hopefully he will get over it and prove Lowe a twat.
 
Just got the new. A huge bonus for us, but in terms of Sane himself - that decision is just beyond madness.Low states that Brandt is the better choice, well stats tell a different story.

Basically one of the best young players on the planet and this idiot leaves him at home - pity he isn't English
 
I'd tipped him to be the best young player in the world cup! Terrible news.
 
I think there is more to this tbh, top top player but Pep made a few comments at the end of the season about remaining grounded especially after winning YPOTY.

I love Sane to bits, one of my favourite City players but I have heard snippets that he knows he is good and comes across a bit big headed to other players. Maybe they have looked at him and thought he isn't a team player? (for Germany)

Big headed? Rightly so.
The kids going to be ballon'dor standard. Quite simply the highest ceiling of any player we have within the squad and the most devastating runner with the ball in the country bar none.

This is a power play from a manager who has only ever played 1 system with zero width. He has failed in club management and his track record with clubs such as Adanaspor, Tirol Innsbruck and Austria Vienna hardly stands out as someone with half a brain at the top level. The guy was caught scratching his b*ll*cks and arse on TV for god sake. He was blessed with the most balanced and deep squad the world has seen for decades and rightly won the world cup in a competition lacking quality considering the stature of the tournament.

He will be gone by July 31st and Germany will be out by the QFs and with that; Leroy will be back in the squad and a major player in the next era.
Huge shame for him with players such as Reus being lauded as the better option right now - despite the fact Leroy just won more in 1 season than Reus has in his entire career to date. 29 with no titles , one measly cup and a history of injuries is pathetic considering his twitter/fifa fame.

They won’t be successful this time. I think their quality has gone backwards
