To be honest, every time I’ve watched Sané for Germany he’s looked awful. Disinterested and not making any runs. Granted, I think I’ve only watched him for Germany 3 or 4 times, but each performance was the same.

Good news for City. He’ll stay fresh, won’t get injured, and you’d like to think he’ll come back realising he still needs to work hard.

General opinion seems to be that its not a decision based on his talent. He didn't play much for us at the beginning of the season due his his effort and application.

0 goals and 1 assists in 12 games for Germany isn't great when he's competing with Reus, Draxler, and Brandt. Didn't do himself any favours in the Austria game when he was woeful.

Brandt is deemed much better, and what is more important, more disciplined defensively than Leroy. Still very few predicted this and it may look bonkers to us, but that is reason why Germany are always contenders and we are not.

0 goals and 1 assists in 12 games for Germany isn't great when he's competing with Reus, Draxler, and Brandt. Didn't do himself any favours in the Austria game when he was woeful.

It seems a strange decision. Draxler has not pulled any trees up at PSG, don't know much about Brandt, Reus is a great player but still not 100 per cent ater his long lay-off. It's a hell of call by Low. I wonder if it's more to do with lack of application by Sane off the field. Great for City though as he has played a lot of matches this year. I think this is a gamble by Low and his team looks a bit short of real pace to me.
