I know, they were awful.They obviously wanted the night off.
Had they opened up to beat us they ran a much bigger risk of losing to us. Given even a victory for them would have left them with a very very slim chance of qualifying regardless, given the respective fixtures, a point was a safer option for them.
Had they lost trying to beat us that would have given hope to celtic before a ball was kicked tonight, we'd have had fuck all to play for and celtic would have done, whilst BM would be in Barcelona.
They ran the risk of finishing bottom trying to beat us tonight, and even if they had, they probably still wouldn't have qualified.
I could sort of understand their logic. A point was good for both teams and as a consequence it was an utterly shite game of football.
But it's job done, onwards and upwards we march

He looks so cut off and we aren't exactly creating a mountain of chances for him. We have no other regular goal threat so he is just doubled up on. The amount of times he receives the ball with 2-3 men round him is stupid. Because teams are sitting so deep and showing so little ambition, he is constantly receiving the ball with his back to goal or worse, physically running away from goal.He gave the team absolutely nothing tonight.Genuinely thought he was dire.
It's causing problems with his own game because he is trying too hard when he gets the ball. That said, it is disappointing that Kelechi hasn't been utilised a bit more.

Just wish we knew before the game they would be happy with a draw. We could have just had a kick around to not waste too much energy and made sure it was 0 - 0 and both teams got the result we wanted
Plus our fans who spent hundreds of pounds travelling over there could have saved their money!!!
