Board games

Tabletop Simulator is all the rage for those separated by distance

thought i'd bump this with some games from the last year;

Pandemic - yes, yes, very cliché and topical but this is a great board game going back 15 years now. I've got the 2013 version. Premise is to play 2 - 4 players and vaccinate/eradicate 4 global diseases, with outbreaks occurring and each player having particular skills. The game is great, strategic and can suddenly go all guns blazing within a couple of moves. The best part is you play cooperatively against the game, so it adds a different dimension to constantly playing your partner and squabbling.

Wingspan - bloody complicated game based on birds. It's decent if you get your head into it but it's expensive and can seem a bit naff, if you get put off by the rules etc

Yahtzee - classic dice game, just need 5 dice and check the internet for the rules and how to score. Great quick time passer.

My kids (aged 11, 9, 6 & 4) have gone absolutely crazy about Ludo this holiday, they’ll even put down the XBOX if there’s a hint of a game.

not sure where this came from but not complaining

Cluedo is a fun game.. Miss Scarlet, murdered, in the Study with a fucking candlestick. Weirdly, I once played Cluedo with a fella actually called Mr Plum.. although it was spelt with two 'm's... He was Mmr Plum.
