Boateng - getting to wind me up !

If Boateng was good, we might consider playing hardball.

He's just not that good at this point. And with the money we get, we could really reinvest to improve the squad. Take any amount over what we paid and run, before he injures his knee again on a drink cart.

That's just the problem .......

Bayern only want to pay 7-8 million , at best ....

they are clearly trying to put pressure on City , through Boateng himself , because they know we have to get shut of a few players.

Save him the bother,

Loan him out to Hyde United so that at least he doesn't have to play on someone elses ground next season.

He has more to lose than city. He has a long contract with us which means that if he ends up staying and rotting in the reserves then he can kiss goodbye to playing international and champions league football.

No doubt he'll go to Bayern and don't be suprised if he ends up a team like Fulham or Blackburn in the depths of mid table obscurity.

Think we should send Balotelli round to kick his head in again.

On a serious note, 15-20m and i would snap there hands off.

IMO deal will get done at about 12mil.

All parties want the deal to happen, there will just be a bit of a compromise on the fee with a few performance related add-ons.

get rid - was anyone really impressed by him last season? I know he had injuries but he was never gonna dislodge Vinnie and a vastly improving Lescott at centre half and Micah really stepped up too.

Course it will.

Good luck to the lad. He was never a bloody right back. And well done to Richards and Zabaleta for stepping up and ensuring we weren't stuck.

I was impressed with how fucking shite he was and how he managed to get us to buy him in the first place.
I'd say he's worth about ten bob and a couple of Ginsters pasties.

The guy confuses me like mad, wasn't it his own fault that he was injured so much during last season? He had an injured knee but still went to play for Germany and on his way back got a trolley rammed into it?
Kind of never played looking confident at City, and i often wondered how he got away with not wearing shin pads so frequently?! Which shows he doesn't look after himself properly. His first ame for City, the pre season vs Valencia, he was awsome and set up a goal with a cross but we never saw that for the rest of the season... he's moaning about not being able to play centre back at City but played in the world cup for Germany at left back and right back - i dont see what his problem was? When we've got players like Micah who says on the website today he's play as a striker if he was put there!
If he's got this 4 year contract sorted at Bayern himself let him got, personally i think Zabba and Micah are better players and hotter prospects for City.

THIS

He came here for a big fee and was happy enough to do that at the time. He then got various injuries and therefore we havent seen the best of him. We sj=hould be telling him "youve got a contract with us, weve looked after you while you were injured, your going nowhere, so just get on with it...oh, and by the way your fined for mouthing off in the papers". cheeky tw*t.
