He'd be better at right back than zab or richards and better at left back than bridge. However I hope we use him as a right back and sign kolarov as a left back, we need solid full backs that really can defend and not full backs like bridge that can't really defend and is just good at going forward (or at least he's suppose to be but i don't see it) as this would then give us the freedom to play players like robinho on the wing who don't really help defending

To be fair to the OP he didnt have the greatest of games tonight. He is still learning his trade as they say. As for this season at the club with the right players around him he could be a big assit to the club. Also I wont expect great things from him from the off it will take time for him to adjust to the English game. I can see him as being Kolos long term replacement in the team in years to come. So if he starts out as backup to Bridge for the left back spot so be it but I think as soon as he gets into the team he will be hard to remove from the team.
