A bit of a weirdo but strangely effective.
Only one difference, Clough won titles, O'Neil mostly produces runners up (unless you count Celtic, and I don't).

de niro said:hilts said:i think you need to read his post properly, if this was a one off from de niro on this subject then it would be seen as a funny wind up, if however someone does it over and over chances are there is a reason behind it that the OP doesnt have the courage to come and admit he is guuted that hughes left and doesnt rate mancini
i am gutted we derailed our season, bob has not yet the players or the nous to win enough games in the prem. he's learning but will be out the door before it all clicks.
hughes had to go purely because of the run of draws, we looked shaky, once the desision was made we should not have appointed a caretaker manager who although great in italy had no idea what the prem was all about. no one gets the time to learn their trade in the prem.
is that clear enough for you?
de niro said:i say lets get o'neill while we can, a proven prem manager.
jose might duck us and o'neill will by then be at the dippers.

i would'nt replace him, well for jose i would but i would take jose over anyone, i am the biggest fan of stability, which is why i was so against the hughes sacking, sven's too come to that.i without doubt be very angry if bob was replaced just because we miss 4th place, 5th? so what, its progress, we then look forward to the summer and bob actually signs his own players, players who can follow his game plan.he will also have learnt things himself, some of our displays have been dire, wigan should have been out of sight before we scored, we were very lucky at sunderland, this can only be because of the game plan as we have some very good players.hilts said:de niro said:i am gutted we derailed our season, bob has not yet the players or the nous to win enough games in the prem. he's learning but will be out the door before it all clicks.

de niro i have no problem with you having an opinion even if i think it is wrong(the arguement about mancini not knowing enough about the premiership is laughable) however is there the need to continue with the mancini replacement comments on such a regular basis? even someone on mars would know your opinion on this, do you not get bored of saying it fella?

Now I have read and probably posted some daft things on BM. However accusing Mancini of not having the nous is frankly the single most idiotic statement yet.
