Bobby Charlton passes away at the age of 86

My Dad, a blue, but he used to go to see both play regularly, always used to say that Duncan Edwards was on his way to being the best ever.

He wasn't even a Manc, you know. From Bromsgrove, or somewhere close to Birmingham, I think. Wonder how he even got scouted by a northern club.

Old knowledgeable red told me he couldnt book Edwards in with the greats cause his run was too short and nobody knew if he was going to be a good recoverer from injury and he looked a bit too heavy-set to keep up his young dynamic.

The two goals v benfica were absolutely class...both not facing the net, goalie waste of time diving..wow
