I don't like the manager publically laying blame and finding faults with individuals.
We play too slow, without any width, so no wonder we don't get the best out of Dzeko or many crosses in. By the time we're at the byline, our single winger (we play without a left sided wide man) has been doubled up.
We need more pace in the midfield, we need more urgency generally... We need to play a symetrical formation where we have outlets on the left and right.

I agree he was the best out of a shite bunch last night but in general what we have seen so far hasnt exactly been brilliant. Mancini obviously thinks the same as he wouldnt be saying this otherwise.
Problem last night was that him playing demoted tevez from lone striker and he had a totally crap game.
For me its either him or Tevez up front as they clearly cant play together so Dzeko in the cups and Tevez in the league.
It might be next season before we see the best of Dzeko and if anything, since buying him we have been worse as a unit. Maybe coincidence but who knows?
The teams that didnt buy anyone in january are the ones who are flying.
Bobby cranking it up or Bobby cracking up? Dzeko has enough pressure on him already with the media sharks circling scenting blood and the last thing he needs is his manager adding to that. SWP has barely kicked a ball in anger this season and needs a run of games if he's going to recapture anything like his earlier form. Smacks of a manager deflecting blame away from himself, something he started to do at a similar stage last season. A bit worrying tbh.
wright phillips has not lost it, :he does not want to play: even when he loses the ball which is quite often, he slaps his thigh ho how disapointed i am with a big smile on his face? as for dzeko i thought he was one of the best on the pitch he and teves were dropping deep constantly through the game trying to get a grip of the ball, city,s play is way way to slow?

Don't agree with managers criticising players in public. The best ones keep it in house. Look what happened to AJ's form after RM went public with his criticism of him. Dzeko has been here 5 minutes ffs. Poor man management imo.
