We're reminding me a lot of Chelsea at the minute. Big spending on lots of players and the team not gelling at all. I don't think Pep has a clue what his best team is now, just like Maresca never got top side of Chelsea

Don't let Rodri's red card disguise this, what we are witnessing is the end, and there is nothing worse than a long lingering death. We could have been beaten by 6 goals in each of the last 2 games and he just doesn't get it.

In short, if Guardiola had anything about, him would fuck off tonight as his race has long since been run.

I wish they would forget tactics. Take a shot, cross the ball, pass forward instead of sideways. Anything to score a goal or two.

Maybe, maybe not. I’m not expert but we’ve been hammered in the past 2 games, nothing ‘fits’ at the minute. That’s why our manager gets paid a fortune - he needs to sort it out, sharpish

Seen enough of Ait Nouri early on in the season and at AFCON to see he's nowhere near our level. Another recent waste of money, too many bang average players from bang average sides.
 
We just seem to have lost all intensity. Yes we're suffering with injuries, club world cup definitely having an impact with no pre-season, but we have been in steady decline since the treble. There was a sense in our celebration's we’d reached the peak. ‘We did it Kev’ etc etc.
Need to get our fucking hunger back.

We can only blame ourselves if that happens , we knew the pitfalls even before tonight's game started, yet we decide to defend like a second rate pub team from the word go ..... if Bodo had scored six or seven goals over the 90 minutes we couldn't have argued.

Alleyne needs careful management now. I feel for him and Khusanov. Both being asked to push up while those in front without exception give the ball away

Pep thinks in four dimensions and as such he tries to articulate things in English but it comes across as jibberish, a bit like he only wants four dimensional football but with Dog and Duck players.
