Me and my mate are in the CL scheme but I selected 2 for each of us, which gives me 4 in the basket, 2 are free and 2 are charged, if you remove the charged ones (once you have 'checked out') then it should leave you with the 2 freebies

That is what happend with mine anyway, I also paid for my tickets weeks ago but still managed to get 2 free tickets this morning on line

Ok so I cocked up and rang the wrong number, I am now on hold in the other queue but when I got the chance to ask the guy at the end of the first queue if this was a viable option he went and checked and his response was "This is not something we have recommended and we doubt that it will work or that we would send out the tickets" he told me to feel free trying but that I would be best off holding as that is the route the club are expecting for anyone who has already purchased. Sorry to be the profit of doom but wouldnt want any blues getting there kids hopes up or there mates only to be let down as the club do not recognise this online route that is being recommended by everyone.

They are still trying to charge me for three and still want £30 when I delete the other two in my wife's name.

The only one with a zero is attributed to my name, despite being on scheme and having already had the money taken for me and the wife.

it's not working for me. I select 1 in my name and 1 my sons and still trying to charge me although they took the pissing money for mine weeks ago.

Mate, not a case of not working for you, seems the system is not set up for it in the first place.

I spoke to someone and they had no explanation for why it only allows for one extra ticket, even if you do then select the entitlement of other people on your account.

Sod - it I have got through on the phone and got my tickets sorted. Ws just about to give up too - 1hr 20mins on phone - better crack on with some work now

Fair enough, all I know is I received confirmation from the club so as far as I'm concerned they have confirmed I have a ticket.

I imagine there will be A LOT of unhappy people if you are right tho, sounds like a fair few CL scheme members have done this option online.

It's even more galling because there are two empty seats currently waiting to be snapped up right next to my regular seats and I thought the easiest thing in the world would be to sort it and sit next to people I actually want to for a change.

It's true what they say, nothing is free in this life.

City clearly want people outside of the scheme to be paying that £25 because they fancy the extra ticket to take someone for free.

Been on hold now over 2 queues for over 2hrs 20mins, I am also lookin at 2 specific seats available, lets hope we arent looking at the same ones, The race is on !

Like others have already posted. I'm already on the cup scheme so I went online for me n my mate and added 4 extra tickets. 2 on his name 2 on mine. I went to checkout and deleted the £25 ones which left the free ones. I did mine last night, so I assume of its not working for people now they must have updated the website so you can't do it that way now
