BOGOF

I've got 3 season tickets on the cup scheme. I ordered 3 'freebies' online last night, using the methods suggested on here. I've just checked my purchase history, (just in case the club had since decided that this was an unacceptable transaction). The tickets are there, but in the order summary / delivery details, it states, 'There was no delivery for this transaction'. Anyone else get this and if so, do you reckon the tickets will need to be collected?

I'd give them a ring and check, there's a bit of a queue though ;o)

Mine says the same but if you click on the 'i' near the total it says 'you will receive a paper ticket in the post'

So I guess we will just have to wait and see

I certainly won't lose any sleep if I don't receive them, beats waiting on the phone half the day

No-ones gonna like this me included

just had a call from a mate and tickets now are available for " students " priced £10 for Newcastle next week and the cska game

its the first time this season they've been available or at least the first time iv had a call to say they are for that price

its a fucking joke, last time I go on any cup scheme now

Happens every year I'm afraid, this is nothing new at all when ticket sales struggle. We find it hard to sell out League Cup and Champions League games year on year, unlike FA Cup (the weekend effect). Expect a lot of kids in matching tracksuits at the CSKA game (schools given tickets).

City lean on cup schemers without any real incentives of late for the CL and League Cup schemes. I am guaranteed my seat? Well, that doesn't mean much when it'd probably be available anyway. And if by chance we do reach the CL final (ha ha), UEFA will make sure it's damn hard to get a ticket.

I'm happy if some students get in for a tenner. In the short term this means less empty seats and maybe a few extra loyal fans in the medium to longer term!

Haven't the 18-21 tickets been £10 all along ? thats what I paid for my lads on the scheme and that age group pretty much covers students ? am I missing the issue here ?

I had a go at them last year over freebies & reduced ticket prices after I had paid the full amount. After a few phone calls they just pissed me off saying it was policy. They said what do you want a refund, I said yes me & 35,000 others. Stadium expansion??? who the fuck are we gonna put in it.

City just doing what the can to expand the fanbase and get the ground full for lower-demand fixtures. They are damned if they do and damned if they don't, although this seems a bit disorganised.

As a CL Scheme member it doesn't bother me in the slightest, and this "BOGOF" thing is a lot fairer than cutting the prices for some but not others.

I'll stay on the CL scheme for convenience and also because there are times when I want the ticket priority. If we get to a semi or final demand will be absolutely outragious. And that day is coming.

That's the whole point though int it ???? there will be hardly any students that go,the people who get them to sell fromtheir work (ie secretaries ) via colleges and uni's tell their friends and family and most that go are blues who cant afford it are wont pay for a normal seat.City need to be really careful what they're doing, its pissing a lot of people off

What use are free tickets to someone who has already bought them?

I had bought two. I should get a refund for one of them and that's what ill be asking for. If I don't get it then off the scheme next year and just wait for these inevitable deals.
