Boiled rice or fried rice

chinese: char siu fried rice

perfection =)

someone who knows their stuff. char siu and keema are wonderful, but I've never tried making them at home.

I make my own pilau espanol (pilau with courgette, peppers and smoked chorizo), but i've never really cracked the best way to fry rice, so most of the time i stick with plain basmati par-boiled, par-steamed. brown basmati is good like that as well.

If cooking Curry I flavour my rice with fresh turmeric, mint leaves, saffron or vanilla.
Depending on what I'm cooking and ingredients I have available!

If cooking Thai food I flavour my rice with mouse poop chillis and coconut milk
- watch out for Thai local coconut milk - have a story about that after cooking a red Thai curry in Bangkok

laos sticky rice eaten with hands and crispy chicken is awesome

Fried rice with chinese - but would go for noodles almost every time

Im looking forward to trying (Pink Rice) rice flavoured with Pink Hibiscus in Malaysia

These look nice also
