Bojinov says goodbye - with over a year left on his contract

I doubt he liked it 2 much, though getting paid thousands of pounds a week just to sit in a hospital bed for a few months isnt all that bad really is it? To then to just piss off back to Italy and saying he wants to leave us publicly whilst he's still under contract to me is unacceptable, there are ways and means of asking to be sold but running to the media isn't one, after already getting his loan away imo he should just keep his head down and play.

His wage doesn't really come into the fact he was injured. Not playing is horrible, and if football is your life, its a killer, no matter what sort of cash you are on. If you were on the sick at work, would they kick you out on your ear, or stop your wages?

He's been loaned out by the club, signalling their intent, and he has gotten his head down and played. Just because he's stated the obvious, that both you, me and Boj could see, he shouldn't be disrespected. When he played for city, he played well, and gave a lot of effort. Something a few other players in the prem could learn a lot from.

Again, a good post.

I think some Blues would rather he just retired and wore his City shirt around the house, rather than ever dirty himself by playing for another club.

Didn't John Burridge do something like that?

Sorry, but at the end of the day, I haven't disrespected him, he wants to leave, he can go for all I care, and I question his professionalism by him coming into the media to make it public, which is fair comment, that's all I've said.

Berti, can't you see?

He left in the summer.

He was finished, kaput, history, finito, vamoosed, gone like the wind, from that point on.

He doesn't want to play for our reserves. We don't want to pay £30K a week for him to play in the reserves. Parma have a new striker.

Everyone's happy....except you.

Im fine, he has gone on loan, but he's still contracted to us, so he should keep his mouth shut.

DD, should they pay a fee for him?

I'd love it if they did but I suspect they won't.

When does his contract expire and when does his loan expire?

If he's contracted to us beyond the loan agreement, then we would try, I'm sure.

But they can call our bluff and walk away, or genuinely walk away. We could tout him round and look for another buyer. He'll be just like any other player.

It will depend what we are paying him. If we are paying a proportion of his wages now, which is more than possible, then it would be in our interests to sell him now. also, if his wages are very high, then any fee we could command would be reduced.

My guess is he'll go on a free or for a million or something, but without knowing all the above facts it's impossible to say.

Good Luck in Parma Boj :), we missed a world class striker . But wait we got Tevez who is overratly better
